He completed a certificate of Emergency Medicine and went on to attain Specialist training as a Fellow of the College of Sport and Exercise Physicians. He has interests in Ultrasound-Guided injections and Metabolic health (weight loss and lifestyle medicine).
Dr Samra has been a Medical Officer at the Sydney Swans for over 7 years. He has been trusted with the care of elite international athletes across a number of sports including Rugby, Athletics, NRL, Cricket, Tennis and Volleyball.
Dr Samra is an accredited CCMI Physician with advanced training in concussion management. He instructs Advanced Life Support courses for other health professionals, including doctors and paramedics, and is actively engaged in research.
