Dr Ken Loi, is a specialist Bariatric and Upper Gastrointestinal surgeon on staff at St. George Public and Private Hospital, Kareena Private, Sutherland Public Hospital and Hurstville Private. Dr Loi previously held the position as Chairperson of RACS (Royal Australia College of Surgeons) NSW Chapter 2018- 2020. He was past treasurer of ANZMOSS (Australia & New Zealand Metabolic and Obesity Surgery Society) 2010-2016 and is the current treasurer of IFSO-APC (International Federation for the Surgery of Obesity and Metabolic Disorders – Asia Pacific Chapter). Dr Loi attends many Asia-Pacific Conferences specifically lecturing and demonstrating Bariatric surgery in China. He has achieved accreditation as a Master Surgeon in Metabolic and Bariatric Surgery through the Centre of Excellence at St. George Private Hospital. Dr Loi has extensive experience in Advanced Upper Gastrointestinal Laparoscopic surgery including hernia repair surgery, oncology and endoscopic procedures.
