Dr Mark Magdy completed his international fellowship in North America with a D.E.S in laparoscopic and robotic bariatric surgery. He was trained by surgeons known for inventing the laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy. He performs all bariatric surgical procedures including laparoscopic sleeve gastrectomy, laparoscopic roux-en-y and single anastomosis gastric bypass. He has a special interest in laparoscopic single anastomosis duodenal ileal bypass (Laparoscopic SADI), a procedure which he learnt whilst overseas. Dr Magdy is involved in research and publications in bariatric surgical outcomes, new and improving techniques and optimising surgical outcomes. He follows a strict pre and post-operative protocol for ensuring best results for patients undergoing bariatric surgery.
